Keep Foster Green is a non-governmental effort to advocate for and support projects which keep the town of Foster as green and rural as possible, and to share outdoor and other recreational opportunities with those who are interested in enjoying a breath of fresh air from the otherwise busy parts of our state.

This site is a clearing house for related activities, for instance the Town recycling program, or notes about hiking areas opened up for use, updates on wild animal sightings, and links to other groups with similar goals.

Foster, RI lies on the edge of the Last Green Valley, and many of its residents “look west” towards northeastern Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner”.    We hope to bring people of like mind together and provide resources for those interested in learning more about the area.
